Remove the fuse panel cover and find the 15-pin or 20-pin diagnostic connector.

Plug the reset tool into the connector input.

Turn the BMW ignition to the "II" position, but do not crank the engine.

Wait 15 seconds until all of the service lights have been reset. The indicator light on the should stop blinking at this point.
